Planting Trees
On Wednesday the year 5's helped plant some fruit trees at the end of the court. We hope they will start fruiting next year and we can have fruit for lunch.
Yum, yum. Fruit trees at school are great! What kind of trees did you plant and how long will it take until you can eat the fruit. At Ahuroa School we have lots of fruit trees and the children love to feast on different fruits during the year. Mrs Bennett.

ReplyDeleteWe have got ten fruit trees such as apple,peach,orange,fejoa,mandarin,plum and one more type that I can not remember.
ReplyDeleteWe heard from the people that helped us plant the trees that it will take until summer 2012 for all of the trees to ripen.
