Kapahaka Practice




The students are busy practicing their Kapahaka. This year Matua Luke is helping the boys with their Haka. The girls are learning to use the poi with Whaea Mina as well as all her beautiful songs. They are an amazing group to watch.

Trip to the Museum

We had a fantastic trip to the Auckland Museum. Lots of new learning, with the students participating and contributing to a high standard.

Swimming



We had a great term, swimming, with lots of children improving in their skil. We did well in the Bream Bay Competition, coming 3rd.

Camp




I have been so busy that I didnot updated our class blog enough last term. However this term I plan on updating at least once a week. Here are some great photos from camp. Even though it was last term, they are worth viewing. Enjoy!!

Tennis

Logos

For maths we are looking at the symmetry in logos, deciding if they rotate or reflect. They Students had a look in the car park at the cars. They also looked at home and put the ones they found in their homework books.

The Puppies




One of the dogs on Hannah's farm had puppies. They were only three weeks old when Hannah brought them in for us to see. We had lots of questions for Hannah which she answered thoughtfully.
