House Points

Each week Room 5 students earn house points. They can earn these for excellence in book work, reaching success criteria and/or doing something well. In this photo the children are adding their earned points to the ones on the board.

Room 5's Assembly

Wow!
Room 5 just had the most amazing assembly.
The students put on a wonderful display of work they have doing this term. Hannah led the way, introducing all the acts. The dance was preformed well to cool music. The art work was fantastic and so were the similes. The children sang beautifully together and showed their ability to work co-operatively. You could tell they were a class that likes to have fun and cares about one another. Tu Meke! Room 5. I am proud of you.

Spelling

Here are some of the Room 5 students getting ready for their Friday spelling test. I wonder how many got 10 out of 10?

Butterfly Catching and Octopus

As a reward for good behaviour Room 5 collect minutes and choose an activity to do together at the end of the day. One day they chose to play octopus. Another day the chose to play on the top field / playground. Some girls decided to chase butterflies. Here are some photos of the children enjoying being outside.

Here are some pictures of Room 5 at work.

Here is a picture of the art work inspired by Eric Carle that the students completed. Isn't it great?

Room five has been very busy this year. The children are swimming everyday. Here are some pictures for you to view.
